ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ, ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ (NAAC), ਬੰਗਲੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰ ਲੱਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ-ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ‘B++’ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਾਲਜ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯੂਜੀਸੀ ਐਕਟ, 1956 ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 2(f) ਅਤੇ 12(b) ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਾਲਜ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਆਰਟਸ, ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਸਾਇੰਸ, ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ।
